Games & Foreplay

Card games, dice, blindfolds and small toys for couples who want to try something a bit different without much planning. A game takes the pressure off saying what you want out loud, and most of what is here is easy to bring out on a night in. Everything arrives in plain packaging, so nobody else needs to know.

Why a game helps

Plenty of people find it easier to try something new when it is part of a game. The card or the dice makes the suggestion, and either of you can laugh it off or give it a go. Games are also a good way to find out what a partner enjoys without a serious conversation. If you would still like to talk first, our piece on bringing it up with a partner might help.

Choosing one

Start with something light. A deck of conversation or dare cards is easy to play and easy to stop. Blindfolds and soft restraints ask for a little more trust, so agree on what is and is not on the table before you begin, and settle on a word that means stop. Small vibrating toys and couples rings can come in once you are both comfortable. Nothing here needs to be finished in one night, and the best games are the ones you come back to.

Gifting

Games are one of the easiest things in the shop to give, especially to a couple or for a hen's night. Our guide to buying for somebody else covers what to think about, and orders of $99 or more ship free anywhere in Australia.

  1. Are these games for couples only?

Most are designed for two people, though some work for a group. Each listing says how many players it suits.

  2. What is a safe word?

A word you both agree on that means stop, straight away, no questions asked. It is worth choosing one before trying blindfolds or restraints.

  3. Will the box say what is inside?

No. Every order ships in plain packaging with nothing on the outside to show what you have bought.
